Axiome is a decentralized finance ecosystem built on its own Layer 1 blockchain known as Axiome Chain. This blockchain is developed using the Cosmos SDK, which enables high scalability and allows for interoperability with other networks through the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol. The native token of the network is AXM. The project is designed to host a variety of interconnected financial products and services. One of its primary components is Axiome Trade, which consists of a decentralized exchange for swapping tokens, a platform for launching new tokens and conducting presales, and a perpetual derivatives trading system. Another key feature is Axiome Pay, which offers cryptocurrency card services intended to allow users to use their assets for everyday purchases and global withdrawals. The AXM token serves multiple roles within this ecosystem. It is used for securing the network through staking, where holders can delegate their tokens to validators. In return for supporting the network and maintaining its security, stakers receive rewards in the form of newly minted tokens and a portion of network fees. Additionally, the project features a revenue-sharing model through a central mechanism known as the Community Pool. This pool collects income from various commercial activities across the Axiome product suite, such as fees from the exchange and revenue from partner projects. A significant portion of this income is distributed back to AXM stakers, providing them with rewards from multiple sources within the network. To maintain economic stability, the system employs several technical mechanisms. These include a floating reward rate for mining new tokens based on network delegation levels and various burning mechanisms intended to manage the token supply over time. The ecosystem also includes a referral-based partnership program designed to encourage user growth and community engagement across the network. The project was founded by Jonathan Wang and Yi Sun. It aims to provide a comprehensive suite of modern decentralized finance solutions where the utility of the native token is tied directly to the growth and adoption of the entire product ecosystem.
