Holders of the B-BAOETH-ETH-BPT token possess governance rights, allowing them to participate in decisions regarding the future development and direction of the baoETH-ETH StablePool. Users can also stake their B-BAOETH-ETH-BPT into a Stability Pool. This action allows them to capture protocol revenue that may arise from liquidations and earn additional governance token emissions. There is a distinction between B-BAOETH-ETH-BPT and veB-BAOETH-ETH-BPT; the former is the liquid governance token, while the latter, veB-BAOETH-ETH-BPT, is a non-transferable, vote-escrowed version that represents voting power obtained by locking up B-BAOETH-ETH-BPT. The B-BAOETH-ETH-BPT token is an ERC-20 token, operating on the Ethereum blockchain. It can be traded on various decentralized exchanges, with Balancer V2 noted as a prominent platform for its exchange. In July 2023, the baoETH vault experienced an exploit. This incident involved non-seeded collateral and the use of flash loans, resulting in the theft of approximately 40 ETH in treasury funds.
