Miners on the BitMind network are scored and rewarded based on the accuracy of their deepfake detection. Validators present challenges that consist of a 50/50 mix of real and fake media. Miners must accurately identify which media is authentic and which is AI-generated. Their rewards are directly proportional to how closely their detection matches the ground truth established by the validators.

Staking SN34 typically allows participation without a minimum amount. If no lock duration is chosen, unstaking is usually possible at any time, though a short unbonding period may apply. Opting for a lock duration, which often boosts rewards, makes funds illiquid until that period concludes. Beyond smart contract risks, users should be aware that some Proof-of-Stake protocols include 'slashing' penalties for malicious behavior or downtime, which could result in a partial loss of staked tokens.
