DogeShrek is a community-driven Decentralized Exchange (DEX) and DeFi platform built on Dogechain, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain for Dogecoin. It combines meme culture with functional tools, allowing users to swap tokens and participate in yield farming. The platform refers to its liquidity and staking pools as "Swamps," providing a thematic ecosystem for Dogecoin holders who want to access decentralized finance features.

While Dogecoin is a standalone cryptocurrency, DogeShrek is an ecosystem built on Dogechain specifically for holders who bridge their assets to the Layer 2 network. It introduces DeFi utility that is not natively available on the main Dogecoin network, such as interest-earning opportunities and instant token swapping. Essentially, DogeShrek expands the use cases of Doge-related assets by providing a decentralized infrastructure within an EVM-compatible environment.

DogeShrek utilizes a dual-token system. DOGESHREK is the primary governance and utility token used for voting on core ecosystem functions, with a fixed total supply of 250 million. In contrast, DOGECORN serves as the reward token for the ecosystem. Users typically earn DOGECORN by participating in yield farming, which involves staking DOGESHREK or other liquidity pairs within the platform’s pools.

Users can access DogeShrek by bridging their Dogecoin to Dogechain to obtain WDOGE (Wrapped Doge). Once bridged, they can connect a compatible Web3 wallet, such as the LBank Wallet or other EVM-compatible wallets configured for the Dogechain network, to the DogeShrek platform. Additionally, users can look for DOGESHREK on centralized exchanges like LBank to trade the token directly against supported trading pairs.

The "Swamp" is the thematic name for DogeShrek’s liquidity and staking pools. In these pools, users can provide liquidity for various trading pairs or stake their tokens to earn rewards. This mechanism is central to the project’s yield farming feature, allowing participants to earn DOGECORN tokens. By contributing to the Swamps, users help ensure there is enough liquidity for the DEX to function efficiently while earning rewards for their participation.
