Everipedia, the original decentralized encyclopedia, rebranded in 2022 to IQ.wiki. This strategic shift aimed to embrace Web3-native principles, integrate advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, and become the core knowledge base for the evolving IQ AI ecosystem. The IQ token, formerly associated with Everipedia, now powers this broader initiative, focusing on decentralized knowledge and AI applications like IQ GPT and the Agent Tokenization Platform.

The IQ token is the foundational cryptocurrency, serving as the economic backbone and utility token for the entire project. In contrast, IQ AI represents the comprehensive ecosystem built around this token. This includes IQ.wiki, the Web3 encyclopedia; IQ GPT, an AI assistant; and the Agent Tokenization Platform (ATP), which facilitates the creation and interaction of AI superagents. Essentially, IQ is the currency, and IQ AI is the suite of products and platforms it powers.

To participate in governance and earn rewards, users can stake their IQ tokens within the HiIQ system. When you lock your IQ for a chosen duration (up to 4 years), you receive a non-transferable balance called HiIQ. A critical point is that once tokens are locked in HiIQ, they become illiquid and cannot be unstaked before the designated lock period expires. Stakers receive daily IQ token emissions and gain voting power within BrainDAO.

The IQ token is integral to the AI ecosystem. With the Agent Tokenization Platform (ATP), users utilize IQ tokens to pay fees for interacting with autonomous AI agents. Furthermore, every AI agent launched on the platform is inherently paired with the IQ token to ensure liquidity. To introduce deflationary pressure, a portion of the fees collected from the ATP and other ecosystem products is regularly burned, reducing the token's total supply over time.

The IQ token operates on a multichain infrastructure. While originally on EOS, its primary presence is now on Ethereum and Polygon. It can also be accessed on Binance Smart Chain and Fraxtal through secure bridging solutions. For acquisition, the IQ token is readily available for purchase on various leading cryptocurrency exchanges, providing broad accessibility to users worldwide.

BrainDAO is the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) responsible for governing the entire IQ ecosystem. It empowers IQ token stakers, particularly those holding HiIQ, to vote on key proposals that shape the project's future. BrainDAO manages a substantial treasury, which comprises IQ tokens, stablecoins (like Frax), and even blue-chip NFTs. This treasury is strategically utilized to fund ongoing development, strategic partnerships, and community initiatives, ensuring sustainable growth and decentralization.
