Datamine FLUX is the native currency of the Datamine Network, which is a decentralized and non-custodial financial ecosystem built on blockchain technology. The core mechanic of the ecosystem involves users locking their DAM tokens into smart contracts. Once these tokens are locked, they begin to mint FLUX at a predictable rate. This process allows participants to generate tokens without the need for central authority or traditional mining hardware. The system is designed to be entirely ownerless and immutable, meaning the rules of the protocol are governed by code that cannot be altered by any single entity. A primary feature of Datamine FLUX is its focus on deflationary mechanics through a Proof of Burn system. Users have the option to burn or destroy their FLUX tokens, which serves multiple purposes within the network. Burning tokens can enhance a user’s minting power, effectively increasing the speed at which they generate new tokens from their locked DAM. Additionally, the project introduced the concept of Burn as a Service.
