MetaFighter is a skill-based, Play-to-Earn (P2E) arcade fighting game inspired by classic titles like Street Fighter and Tekken. Built on the BNB Smart Chain, the project utilizes NFT assets for its characters and battle arenas. It combines traditional fighting game mechanics with blockchain technology, allowing players to utilize unique digital assets in a competitive, decentralized environment where player skill is the primary driver of success.

The game offers a "Fight to Learn" mode which is completely free-to-play. This mode provides players with two basic characters to test game mechanics and practice against AI opponents without the need to purchase NFT fighters or tokens. This allows newcomers to experience the gameplay before deciding to engage with the Play-to-Earn features, which require NFT ownership and the ecosystem's native token for competitive PvP wagering.

The $MF token serves as the central utility asset for MetaFighter. It is used as in-game currency for purchasing NFT fighters, skins, and superpowers. In competitive modes, players wager $MF in "Fight to Earn" matches. Additionally, the token can be staked to earn rewards, unlock experience point (EXP) boosters, or gain access to exclusive NFT drops. $MF also functions as a governance token, enabling the community to vote on new characters and game features.

As of early 2026, MetaFighter remains active with a mature "Unleashed" version of the game. Users can acquire $MF tokens on LBank and other major exchange platforms. While the project has moved past its initial launch hype into a more established phase, it maintains its presence on leading centralized and decentralized trading venues, allowing players to enter the ecosystem and trade the assets required for the game’s economy.

Players can earn rewards through "Fight to Earn" PvP matches where $MF tokens are wagered. NFT owners can also earn passive income by lending high-level fighters to other players in exchange for a commission of their winnings. For progression, the "Fight to Gain" mode allows players to earn Experience Points (EXP) to level up their NFT fighters, improving their combat stats and market value. MetaFighter features three main NFT categories. Fighter NFTs are core assets with unique attributes in Attack, Defense, and Speed. Arena NFTs allow owners to earn a percentage of transaction fees from matches held in those digital venues. Finally, Skin and Superpower NFTs offer customizations and tactical edges. These assets can be upgraded by playing or using EXP boosters, making them more powerful in matches and more desirable within the marketplace.
