Opal DEX is a next-generation decentralized perpetual futures exchange built on the Ethereum network. Its primary differentiator is the "sealed order execution" model. Unlike conventional platforms where trade orders are transparent and susceptible to front-running or predatory "stop-loss hunting," Opal ensures privacy by hiding order details from all parties, including the exchange itself, until the moment of settlement. This architecture prioritizes trader protection and market integrity.

A "house-blind" exchange is one where the developers and the platform operators cannot see user intent or pending orders before they are executed. Opal achieves this through AI-driven sealed orders. This prevents the "house" from manipulating markets or trading against its own users. By ensuring that the exchange remains unaware of order parameters until execution, Opal provides a fairer environment compared to traditional perpetual platforms where transparent order books can be exploited by insiders or bots.

The $OPAL token features a "real yield" model where 100% of the platform's revenue, including trading fees and funding spreads, is distributed back to token holders in ETH. To earn these rewards, users must stake their $OPAL tokens on the official protocol dashboard. Rewards are typically distributed weekly and are proportional to the amount staked. Notably, there is no lock-up period, allowing users to unstake their tokens at any time while only earning rewards during the active staking period.

Because Opal DEX distributes 100% of its trading platform revenue to token stakers, the project utilizes a 5% tax on $OPAL token transactions to fund its ongoing operations. This tax serves as the primary revenue source for project development, security audits, infrastructure maintenance, and ecosystem growth. This structure ensures that the protocol remains sustainable while allowing the community to benefit directly from the exchange's trading volume.

Sealed Order Execution is a technical process where trade orders are encrypted and placed into a queue known as a "micro-auction window." These orders are not decrypted or matched until the specific auction period concludes. This mechanism prevents high-frequency trading bots and predatory actors from seeing a trader's intent and reacting before the trade is finalized. By matching orders in batches after the window closes, the protocol ensures a more level playing field for all participants.

Security is managed through several layers. The $OPAL token smart contracts have undergone audits by AssureDeFi, and the protocol maintains a policy of public audits for major feature releases. For emergency situations, the protocol includes "escape hatches" in its smart contracts, which allow users to withdraw their funds directly on-chain even if the front-end interface or committee operators are unavailable. Additionally, the project's treasury is managed via a multisig wallet with disclosed signers to ensure transparent fund management.
