Complementing this is the XPASS, a physical card that stores digital assets and can be tapped on an XPOS terminal to complete a transaction. Additionally, the XWallet serves as a mobile bridge, allowing users to manage their digital assets and interact with the Pundi X payment network. Regarding the token specifically mentioned, NPXS was the original utility token for the Pundi X ecosystem. It was used to facilitate transactions, reward users, and fuel the network operations. However, in early 2021, the project underwent a significant token migration and redenomination process. During this transition, the NPXS token was replaced by a new token under the ticker PUNDIX. This swap occurred at a ratio of 1000 to 1, meaning that for every 1000 NPXS tokens held, users received one PUNDIX token. The redenomination was implemented to simplify the token supply and enhance the recognition of the Pundi X brand. As part of its ongoing development, the project has also worked on its own blockchain protocol called Function X, which aims to provide a fully decentralized environment for data, apps, and financial services.
